Should restart if unable to contact the Directory #8
Description
This issue presented itself by way of another application not being able to find the cmdesc service. The cmdesc service had started successfully, but had evidently not been able to contact the directory when starting and could not therefore register itself.
Applications that start up and fail to register themselves should quit and be handled by K8s instead of gracefully ignoring the error.
