Issue of High demand & VM type selection stopping script deployment

Hi, not sure if others are seeing this but I'm finding this impossible to implement as I've had to go through many, many deployments and adjust the script to pick available VM types, having finally gotten through this trial and error choosing different vms process I'm now stuck on
"Sorry, we are currently experiencing high demand in East US region, and cannot fulfil your request at this time."

How have other overcome these blockers to initial deployment? Also for those who have actually got this working what machine types are they falling back to and what geo are they deploying into.
