The original Runix documentation speaks of USB support (they appeared to have even added a RTC and maybe other ic to the PIO port of the playstation to make it a more full useable system. the drivers for a USB host controller seem to be there.
Would love to have a USB host IC and working for like keyboard, additional storage and maybe network?
