Feature request: adding music stored locally

I absolutely love the app and the ability to link a song to an entry, would it be possible to implement adding song you have stored locally?

1 Question:
Would you mind the song file being added to app's data like other media items (Images/Videos). It would be considered in offline backups and cloud syncs
