COT - UI showing red

After installing on raspberry-pi 4 with ubuntu 22.04.

COT with SSL and TCP is showing red. Trying to find script/config file since I might suspect is showing wrong IP adress? or maybe dabase not on right place?

rest is blue and ok.

same for me using ZTI and Digital Ocean ubuntu 22.04 , all my ports are open. and netstat shows 8087 and 8089 listening

Guys, I found the problem and it is working. With the help of ChatGPT I found that the CoT services are starting but immediately crashing because of a telemetry/tracing misconfiguration in the digitalpy package. Specifically:

AttributeError: property 'span_exporter' of 'BatchSpanProcessor' object has no setter

This happens in both:

tcp_cot_service_main.py
ssl_cot_service_main.py

The effect: The service starts, tries to initialize OpenTelemetry tracing (span_exporter), fails, and the CoT ports (8087/8089) never bind.

How to fix: Patch digitalpy telemetry:

ChatGPT" The error is due to trying to setattr() a property that is read-only in the current version of opentelemetry-sdk."

Downgrade opentelemetry-sdk to a version compatible with FTS/digitalpy:

Successfully installed deprecated-1.2.18 opentelemetry-api-1.14.0 opentelemetry-sdk-1.14.0 opentelemetry-semantic-conventions-0.35b0 wrapt-1.17.3

After fixing, restarted FTS and now all is up and running.
