How to use "map it" button

Hello,
I have discover your add-on and i love it. I have seen that there is a button "map it" for start, destination and via adress. In my QGIS these button are grey (i can't click on). Is this option is currently available or not? I would like to know what can i do to use the button ?

At the moment these buttons are not connected with the plug itself.
I need to implement the functionality in the later step.
Unfortunately I don't have the time at the moment.

Providing the buttons with functionality would indeed be great.
