The part in italics is not the right one

And when I try to italicize the "tttt" text (select text + click on italic icon):

I get this:

@Trylam any chance you can include some additional information such as browser and version as well as the HTML before and after the change?

Of course. I use Firefox 115.6.0esr.

When I select a part of the text, this is what I get:

And, when when I click on italic icon :

I have the impression that it only does so when my first change in the text concerns the last word. It does the same thing when I try to bold.
