Inserting SCTE-35 markers into a SRT stream? (ios, Swift)

I'd like to insert like a push for ad Button that will add scte-35 markers into the stream that my aws server will read and know what to do with (example of marker needed #EXT-X-CUE-OUT-CONT:ElapsedTime=5.733,Duration=60.033,SCTE35=/DAvAAAAAAAAAP/w...). I suppose i need to modify parts of the framework in order to insert them, where to start with this, what part of framework/class to modify to potentially achieve this?
