We would like to have binary artifacts for Ubuntu that mirror the RHEL ones. I've been told the RHEL ones would work on Ubuntu, so then this issue may be come a matter of a duplicate artifact with the right Ubuntu version in the name. The reason for the duplicate (if that's the approach we take) is to reduce confusion and friction in the community. Anyone pulling binaries in an automated build system is likely to have logic that uses the name as a key for the platform they're on.
