Thanks for the bug report.
Some questions to help try narrow down the issue:

• What version of OneNote do you have installed?
• Does it crash when you use the notebook explorer and recent pages?

The same problem arises on different computers with OneNote as part of Office 2021 and Office 2016. The logs are from the computer with Office 2021. It crashes when using the search function of this OneNote plugin for Flow Launcher.

Does it crash when you use the scoped search in notebook explorer?
Are you running on Office on a server? The error code is related to server-side automation for Office with the solution basically being find an alternative.

Just the 'real' search option ('on' + search item) makes the plugin crash immediately. Browsing notebooks (on nb:) or browsing recent notes (on rp:) works. Office is installed on the local system, not on an external server.

I see, can you try scoped search specifically.
Unfortunately I don't have Office 2021 or Office 2016 to test with.
If only the search is crashing it might be that you have Windows/Microsoft Search API disabled, given you can still interact with OneNote.
Please also try turning the settings for showing the recycle bin and encrypted sections off.
