Description

@tobybutler405

This page https://docs.openaev.io/latest/usage/xtm-suite-connector/ can be improved by the following changes.

  • expand "Enabling the Security Coverage connector in OpenAEV"
    -Original:
    Enabling the Security Coverage connector in OpenAEV
    Make sure you set a value for all mandatory configuration keys, following the Configuration documentation for the Security Coverage Connector."

Proposed Change:
Enabling the Security Coverage connector in OpenAEV
To enable OpenAEV to function as a Security Coverage connector for connected platforms, you will need to set the XTM Suite: OpenCTI configuration keys in your application properties file. The table listed in this page details the required configuration keys [link]. Once these have been set you will the be able to complete the setup of the connector in OpenCTI.

  • rename "Use OpenCTI to trigger security coverage enrichments seamlessly" To "How to check the OpenAEV - OpenCTI connection"
    and changed the text from "The connector is now up and running and should be visible in OpenCTI as OpenAEV Coverage." to "To confirm the connector is running correctly you should see the following information In OpenCTI > Data > Ingestion > Monitoring view.
    [placehodler for image]
    Refer to the OpenCTI documentation for how to trigger the enabled connector to get automated enriched security posture assessments with OpenAEV.
