Values that should be present in AndroidManifest.xml vs build.<name>.gradle #8

I am in the process of updating Extracted RC to 11.1.0 and I am wondering what values should be present in the AndroidManifest.xml files vs the Gradle files.

For the most part the AndroidMaifests extracted from the AAR files have package, versionCode, versionName, and minSDK set in them, but the ones in this repo seems to only have package except for RobotCore and Vision, so I don't know what standard to follow. As well all these options are set again in Gradle.

Should the Manifests have none of these and all the options be set in gradle? (I think this is the recommended way to do it)
Should the Manifests all just have package?
Should the Manifests be left as extracted from the AARs to maintain accuracy to the stock app and for ease of updating (less to change in gradle)? If so, should the all the options be removed from Gradle?
