OpenEquivariance Extension Load Hangs #156

Migrated from mir-group/nequip#541 (comment). Possible race condition when the extension needs to be rebuilt arising from multiple Hydra processes.

Temporary fix is to delete the torch extension folder on a hang. Long-term, need to find root cause of the hang.
