Whitelist option

I would like the footprints of the mod to appear only on snow and sand. But by default, the mod does not give me this opportunity, applying footprints to all blocks. I would like to be able to add blocks on which I would like to leave footprints to a whitelist, which, if some blocks are inscribed in it, then it applied footprints only to these inscribed blocks, and did not apply to all others

Typically, the hardness-based-filter in this mod shouldn't apply footprints to ALL block such as stone, wooden block and other blocks which hardness is bigger that 7. Are you sure that footprints were generated on these blocks by default? It may be a bug.
I think it enough for custom configuration if this filter works correctly.

There are many blocks in the game to which this filter is not applied or is applied incorrectly, as a result of which footprints remain on these blocks, although they should not be on them. Here are the ones that I managed to find. I also believe that this applies to blocks from other mods as well. At least I noticed that footprints also remain on the wooden feeder from Quark.

Thank you. Although this is also an important setting, it does not completely solve the problem. I would like to be able to manually remove and add blocks on which footprints may appear. Or else, so that the mod does not initially show footprints on the blocks that I listed above in the screenshot (this would be even better, because I would not have to configure the blocks manually).

As for the new option: With the Hardness gate value of 0.6, the footprints on most of the above blocks do not remain, as they should, with the exception of a few of them, which I write about further.

Footprints on the following blocks disappear only at the following values:
Target, Hay Bale: 0.5
Bee nest: 0.3
Daylight Detector: 0.2
Big Dripleaf: 0.1
Footprints on the Redstone Repeater and Redstone Comparator stop remaining only when the value is 0.

Try to add those blocks you didn't want footprint to Excluded Blocks list. If a block get pass through hardness check, exclude list can stop it get footprint.

I'm sorry for the long answer.
Maybe then it would be worth making so that footprints on these blocks are disabled by default in the mod? So that the player does not have to exclude them themselves in the configs. Because footprints on these blocks should not appear in any case.
I also think it would be worthwhile to set the Hardness Gate to 0.6 by default, since this corrects the appearance of footprints on many block surfaces.
