Runestone Issue: Select Question in new interface isn't displaying properly and I can't edit the question

I was in the SI201-W26-TTh ebook working on assignment Practice-Lists-Loops-New and added a new select question (sq-total-even-pp) to the assignment using the new assignment builder interface with two ids and the ability to toggle between the questions. However, when I preview the assignment it shows the following:

I can not edit the question, even though I created it. I also tried to create a select question using the old interface and got an error when I tried to preview it.

I can see the problem with the new interface. The easy workaround is to provide labels. I can adjust the javascript to better handle the case when there are no labels provided.

@morozov-av There is a problem in that we cannot edit a select question even immediately after saving the question.

I cannot reproduce the issue with the old assignment builder. But think I understand the error message enough to try to avoid the issue.
