Description
- Don't have bossfights, but make the level really difficult, and with reaching the end, you get a new mechanic and you will need to use that mechanic in the next level (downside, we'll need to think of those and have that be somehow be reflected in the randomized design of the map)
- Have a backstory and have mechanics that explain that story throughout the world, like books you can read, posters and signs you can read, conversations that you can overhear (with your superhearing)
- Abilities with a visible cooldown period, for example a special jump/run that makes you jump a couple blocks, but you need to save it until you really need it because you can do it only every hour and time is ticking away
