First thing's first. I'm sorry if I make a mistake anywhere in this report. I've never actually submitted a bug report on GitHub before, so please bear with me. Also "Warehoused" may also not be the right term for what's happening with that domain, so sorry again if it's not the correct way to describe the situation. I'm just a nerd who found a small issue in a game I wanted to replay, and I'm not familiar with the terms used to describe this kind of thing.
The Super 8 interactive teaser under the Extras menu in Portal 2 will automatically open a link to "http://www.super8-movie.com" once the teaser is over. That address redirects to a different website "https://kineticharbor.com" which is currently registered to Team Internet AG through Key-Systems GmbH in Germany according to a WHOIS lookup. As far as I know neither of these companies are associated with Paramount Pictures, J.J. Abrams, Steven Spielberg, or anyone else that was involved in the making of that movie.
The hidden address "http://asc8.clip69.super8-movie.com/" on the back of the armoured box car at the very end of the teaser also redirects to the same website.
These links should probably be removed, as the website they originally linked to has been dead for several years as far as I can tell.
System Info
Steps to reproduce:
1: Start the Super 8 Interactive Teaser in Portal 2
2: Complete the teaser. The game will automatically open a link to "http://www.super8-movie.com" in the Steam in game browser
OR
1: Start the Super 8 Interactive Teaser in Portal 2
2: Find the hidden address "http://asc8.clip69.super8-movie.com/" on the back of the armoured boxcar (you will need to noclip outside of the normal play area to see this)
3: Go to that address in a web browser of your choosing
I've attached a screenshot of the website that automatically opens in the Steam in game browser once you finish the teaser, and a screenshot of the hidden link's location taken from the Combine OverWiki. (source, link is in the bottom right corner of the image). I've uploaded a ~3 minute long video showing the entire teaser from start to finish, ending with the website opening in the in game browser to youtube. (Link) Don't mind me fiddling with the console near the end. I was trying to see if I could remember how to change the field of view.
