Build .apk from example app with bundled "javascript" embedded

Should I be able to build an .apk with bundled "javascript" embedded? I've made an several attempts to do this, and the .apk runs, but comes up with a blank screen.

It works fine using expo-go, but I need to be able to distribute it for feedback on the UI (in the library).

followed by eas build --platform android --profile standalone-apk --local creates a .apk file, but the screen comes up blank when it's installed.

So there's an error related to safe area context as you see in the logs. So make sure to install the appropriate version with expo install or look for similar issues in safe are context and expo repo.
