Question

Documentation is needed to explain how to configure MCP for use within Aider.
If this is a long-term supported experimental project under Aider, similar to the relationship between RooCline and Cline, it would be best if the project name could be distinguished from Aider.

I am not necessarily sure yet if this a longer term thing and would like to wait a couple of weeks to see if there is activity in the main repo or not. If there is not, I do agree that it needs a variant name as a hard fork to limit confusion

A real example that I used to confirm functionality of remote mcp servers is:

Stdio transport mcp servers work like:

Alright, considering the main repo v0.86.0 didn't address any of the priority PRs, I'll maintain this fork as the "Community Experimentation" version of the Aider project and keep it up to date and ahead of the base repo going forward
