You would need root access for the installation and management of the scripts, just like with the original helper scripts or when you just use the normal proxmox gui. For the moment i did not find any groups a user needs to be in to create containers and manage them. But i startet experimenting with the proxmox user settings for work reasons. I did not yet find a way to create a user in the proxmox ui and allow that user to ssh into the host, wich is needed. But thank you for bringing it up, i will raise a issue with the proxmox devs to ask what can be done in this matter. |

I am trying to find the best path forward using the ProxmoxVE-Local in a lxc. It is implied that we should use the root user on each Proxmox node (which is not a best security practice).
What are the minimum permissions required for the user on each Promox node?
Are there any how-to guides for creating that user?
