Networking Toolbox is a collection of free, open-source networking utilities designed to simplify common network-related tasks for system administrators and network engineers.

This looks like the perfect companion to IT-tools, but for network. Currently running in Docker and experimenting with how to create an LXC script for it, but i feel it would be an excellent addition to the PVE scripts collection

I just discovered the ProxmoxVE community scripts (thanks to CrazyWolf13), I'm a proxmox noob but am familiar with Networking Toolbox (becos i built it), so I will try and help.

Deploy instructions

This should be very east, as the app has no database, no need for external configuration, and runs just as a node server

Without Docker, it can be deployed like this:

• Get the code, with git clone [email protected]:Lissy93/networking-toolbox.git
• and then cd networking-toolbox
• Install dependencies npm i
• Build the app with: npm run build:node
• Then, start the app with with node build, or with the start script in npm start

You need Node.js installed. I recommend a recent LTS version, like 22.

@Lissy93 is git needed for anything else than clonning the repo? does node build use any info from .git directory?

if not, we have our own release fetching function, so we don't need git as dependency
