Upgrading from PAI v2.5 to LifeOS 7.x: is there a migration path?

I've run PAI v2.5 (Algorithm v0.2.24) since February with about 40 custom skills, 42 hooks and a large MEMORY tree in the 2.x layout. DetectEnv.ts reports existingInstall: false, so the Update workflow doesn't see my install.

1. Is there a supported way to migrate 2.x memory into LIFEOS/MEMORY/ and USER/, or is a hand migration expected?
2. Should the old skills/PAI (CORE) skill be removed before installing, so there aren't two constitutions?
3. Is the voice server port (8888 → 31337) configurable?

I'm looking at doing this too, since Claude has matured a bit, the old prompts in the PAI harness are a little dated, and I'm beginning to understand that better now. What I will do is working with my PAI to evaluate 7.x again and work out the best way to lift and shift, while keeping the new goodies and dropping what is klunky or no longer needed. When I'm done, I will post here what came out of this exercise!

V8.x is allegedly imminently getting released so don't waste too much time focusing on V7. Probably best to inspect V8 when it comes out and look at what you genuinely want to port from your custom legacy version.
