Meeting Minutes

• Sync is currently blocked because of Eclipse ECA and BMW-Contributor not meshing well.

  • @LittleHuba will provide updates on the unblocking progress
  • Open PRs will be integrated once sync is working again

• Release v0.5 (Prepare s-core v0.5 alpha release #1925)

  • Main task is currently enabling QCC builds
  • Release notes will be worked on once QCC builds are enabled

• List of tickets will be pushed out with small refactorings/improvements

  • Active contribution from external side is wished for
  • This is a great way to get familiar with the codebase!

• Rust API: API is being moved to communication repository and improvements will be done in communication repository

  • Currently if you want to improve the rust API, please contribute to the incubation repository. We will port the improvements with the existing API to the official repo
  • Proper API is in work but we actively do not want to hurry this. Otherwise the API will have to be stabilized when already in use. This is hard on developers and users.

• Feature modification: Cross-VM IPC (#916) #1371 (raised by @FScholPer)

  • Discussion next weekly to agree on way forward. Please come prepared.

• Will there be a generic skeleton for gateway implementation? (raised by Abishek Goyal)

  • Same approach as with the generic proxy
  • Feature on roadmap from BMW but not planned yet
  • Contribution from other parties welcome. Please share intermediate steps.
