v0.0.91 Release Highlights
Eigent v0.0.91 introduces configurable Remote Sub Agents, clearer cloud trial usage controls, expanded cloud model options, and a better BYOK model configuration experience.
Highlights
Remote Sub Agents
This release introduces configurable Remote Sub Agents. Users can now set up a remote sub-agent provider from Agents > Sub Agents, including API key, API host, agent ID, max wall time, and polling interval.
Once enabled, Eigent can route suitable work to a remote execution environment, especially tasks that are long-running, exploratory, or benefit from isolation, such as dependency installation, script execution, CI/log analysis, data processing, scraping, benchmark investigation, and deeper repository analysis.
Remote Sub Agents are integrated across multiple worker types, including Developer, Browser, Document, MCP, Multi-modal, Social Media, and custom agents. The release also includes connection validation, session reuse, provider runtime handling, safety policy checks, and backend persistence for user-specific remote sub-agent configuration.
Trial Usage and Credit Limit Guidance
Cloud trial and credit usage are now easier to understand inside the app. The chat input can show warning or blocking banners when users approach or reach trial, free, or monthly credit limits.
When a cloud trial limit is reached, Eigent prevents new cloud-model tasks from starting and gives users a clear path forward: upgrade, switch to a local/custom model, or use their own API key. The model settings page also explains trial limits, daily trial credits, total trial credits, and full plan credits, with an upgrade dialog for unlocking the full plan.
Expanded Cloud Model Support
The cloud model list has been updated with newer model options, including Gemini 3.5 Flash, GPT-5.5, GPT-5.4, GPT-5 Mini, DeepSeek V4 Pro, Claude Opus 4.7, and MiniMax M2.7.
The default cloud model selection was also refreshed to prioritize newer GPT models. Model-to-provider routing was improved so each cloud model is sent through the correct backend platform, including Azure, Gemini, Bedrock Converse, DeepSeek, and MiniMax.
OrcaRouter BYOK Support
Eigent now supports OrcaRouter as a Bring Your Own Key provider. Users can configure OrcaRouter with its default API endpoint and use it as an OpenAI-compatible model provider.
This release also adds a searchable model picker for providers that expose a model listing endpoint. The picker can fetch available models, group them by provider prefix, filter chat-capable models, cache results locally, and let users choose a model without manually typing the full model ID.
More Reliable Cloud and BYOK Configuration
Cloud and provider initialization are more robust in this release. Azure cloud models now receive a default API version when needed, reducing model initialization failures. Cloud proxy detection was also expanded to support the newer Eigent proxy host.
Provider configuration now supports additional initialization parameters, making cloud and BYOK setup more flexible and stable.
Pre-release Build Workflow
This release adds dedicated pre-release and test-build workflows for macOS ARM64, macOS Intel, Windows x64, and Linux x64. These workflows help the team validate release packages before a public release, upload artifacts, and prepare pre-release assets more consistently.
