detect how long touching an element

Hello, i am a newbie in jquery and i am working in a project. I use jquery-ui-touch-punch for ipad and i would like to ask if there is any way to detect how long the person touches the element and only begin the movement when its past a certain time. Is this possible?

I think that should set the 'delay' property of draggable function on jquery UI. go to http://api.jqueryui.com/draggable/#option-delay

For anyone who ends up here looking for a solution - I've created a pull request which implements this using a global touchPunchDelay property
