Unable to engage in restricted dialogue

I'm using an unrestricted AI model with llama.server for local testing via a native service, and it can handle restricted dialogue perfectly well. However, when I connect to my own server, the AI's speech is restricted, and switching templates even results in garbled characters; almost all templates fail. I've also run curl tests, which also allow unrestricted dialogue. Yet, my server can handle unrestricted dialogue when connected to other commercially available AI applications. This is very puzzling.
