Zendure 2400AC+ support?

Since the Zendure 2400AC+ is equipped with a RJ45 ethernet port and supports the RS485 protocol according to the docs, I'm wondering if there are people using Home Battery Control with Zendure 2400AC+? I can't find much information about it but I do own a 2400AC+ and am a Home Assistant user.

Currently I'm using the setup of Tweakers.net user @Gielz1986 – which is great – but I want to manage my EV charging too – and that's why I stumbled upon this project. Of course I can create an automation, but in order to prevent future compatibility issues I'd prefer to use one solution/package.

I'm willing to try/test if I can contribute to this project. I'd just need some startup help.

The good news is that there is a ha integration for the zendure. Did you install that already? I have created an interface for the Anker SolarBank to HBC. So it is possible to link other vendor batteries. You may want to have a look at the issue I have created for this. We also started recently a new thread on the discord server to discuss integration of other batteries with HBC. You will find there two pictures that might help you with the setup. I did not hear yet about other people that integrated a zendure battery so you will have do some work to map the required entities.

Thanks for pointing into a direction. I will try to find out if I can integrate a Zendure connector / interface for this project. @gitcodebob are you in to that? Or don't you want Zendure support in this project? :)

• therefore Modbus is probably not needed for local connectivity

That would be great. Appreciated. The project has been moving beyond Marstek for a while now. Jos has been helping Anker Solix to the platform and I have reports of Sessy users as well.
