Internally, we have done some work to make AutoService work with KSP. Perhaps @cgdecker can comment further.

Yeah, we have a KSP processor for it internally but I haven't done the work to figure out the right way to get it open-sourced and released. It might just be a matter of putting the code in a service/processor-ksp module and releasing that as a separate Maven artifact from processor. If there were more to it (like needing to use Gradle to release it for some reason) that would make it harder, but it seems like that's probably unnecessary. I'm not confident I'll get to it anytime soon, but this at least has reminded me to think about it.
