Description
When using Huly in Firefox (PWA or in a tab) on GNOME (Manjaro Linux), the text input cursor loses focus if I switch the input language with Super+Space (the default GNOME shortcut).
After switching language, I have to click back into the input field with the mouse to continue typing. This does not happen in other apps or websites, only in Huly.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Huly in Firefox (latest version) on GNOME.
- Focus any input field (e.g. task title, description, comment).
- Start typing.
- Press Super+Space to switch the input language (e.g. English → Persian).
- Try typing again.
Expected Behavior
The text cursor should stay active in the input field after switching input language, so I can continue typing without clicking.
Actual Behavior
The cursor/focus is lost, and I need to click into the input field again to continue typing.
Environment
- OS: Manjaro Linux (GNOME)
- Browser: Firefox 143
- App version: Huly web app (0.7.204, self-hosted)
- Keyboard shortcut: Super+Space (default GNOME input source switcher)
Notes
This seems related to how the app handles input method focus on GNOME. Other web apps keep focus after switching input language.
