Can not open runner in split window

with this conifg,I can not open runner in a new window, I want to run ipython on the current split window on the right.

This plugin is amazing!

@MichaelC001 I suspect you may have to add something like

allow_remote_control yes
listen_on unix:/tmp/kitty

to your kitty.conf in order to get the funky remote control features working.

Having said that, I've got the split popping up now but can't seem to get the runner to send any text over to my new window. 🤔

I was mucking around with this and managed to fix this here #13

No idea if it's actually a good idea to merge this in though - but it works for me 🤷

i got the same problem it opens in a new terminal but not in the splits

I tried introducing the code from @will-clarke commit into my version as well as the changes to the kitty.conf. What resulted is that every time I send lines, a new split is creates and all the splits will run the code.

I had the same problem. See my PR #18 building on what @will-clarke did. Works for me! I see some other possible issues, but going to use it for awhile and understand how best to address.
