1. Alexa light notification: Integration request to use Alexa's light ring as a notification visual aid. (Out of scope)
2. Multiple DND times per day: Ability to configure more than one "Do Not Disturb" time slot within a 24-hour period. (Working on a differentiation between weekdays and holidays)
3. Continue music/stream on Google Home: Feature to automatically resume audio playback on Google speakers after a notification interrupt. (Difficult, It depends on the streaming service)
4. Volume restoration: Ensuring the media player returns to its original volume level after a TTS message is announced. (Ok, made)
5. New Channel Support: Requests for Signal, WhatsApp, and Desktop notification integration. (Discord, Whatsapp, HTML Desktop notifications available)
6. Per-device/group DND: Granular control to apply DND settings to specific devices or rooms rather than globally. (See point 2)
7. Priority Messages: A "bypass" flag for urgent notifications that should ignore DND settings (e.g., security alerts). (Ok, made in v0.6.x)
8. UI Configuration: Enhancements to the configuration flow within the Home Assistant frontend (currently a focus of recent updates). (Ok, made in v0.7.x)
9. Messages: "plain vanilla" messages without Assistant name and time: (Working)

Hi @jumping2000! Here are three local patches I implemented on my installation that might be worth considering for upstream integration:

1. Last sent message entity: After each notification, UN writes the message text to a configurable input_text entity. Useful for displaying the last notification on a dashboard card or referencing it in automations (e.g. a "repeat last message" button). (Implemented as a local patch to __init__.py; would benefit from a config-flow option to set the entity)

2. Title suppressed on voice channels: The title: field is currently prepended to the TTS text on voice channels, which is often unwanted — spoken announcements don't need a spoken header. Title should only appear in text channels (e.g. Telegram) and be ignored for is_voice: true channels. (Implemented locally: removed the title-prepend block inside the voice dispatch path)

3. Manual DND via HA entity: The current DND is time-range only. It would be useful to also toggle DND via a HA entity (e.g. input_boolean) independently of the scheduled slots — for example when guests are present or during an unplanned nap. The entity check runs after the time-range check and overrides it when on. (Implemented locally: additional hass.states.get(dnd_entity) check in async_send_notification; would benefit from a config-flow field)
