Move auxiliary types outside `crates/storage/src/store.rs`

The file is already ~2000 lines long. We should move auxiliary types and functions to other modules. Splitting the Store impl block into multiple modules is also on the table.

I’d like to take this issue if it’s still available.

Understanding:

crates/storage/src/store.rs (~2000 lines) needs refactoring
Extract auxiliary types, enums, and helpers into separate modules
Split the large impl Store for better maintainability

Plan:

Group related items (errors, configs, helpers, etc.)
Move them into new modules under crates/storage/src/
Keep store.rs focused on the core Store logic
Update imports/re-exports and ensure tests pass (cargo test)

Happy to start with a draft PR and iterate.
