Would a PR for shared agent instructions with Claude compatibility be welcome?

Hi, thanks for maintaining GPUI Kit and its detailed contributor guidance!

Would you be open to a PR that makes the repository's coding-agent instructions easier to reuse across different tools? I'd like to make AGENTS.md the shared source of project guidance, move tool-independent material from .claude/ into .agents/, and retain Claude-specific entry points that reference the shared content so the existing Claude workflow continues to work. The existing skills/ distribution would stay in place.

I'd keep the change focused on instruction organization and references, without changing the project rules or application code. Tool-specific commands would keep the adapters they need rather than being moved unchanged.

Would it be okay to go ahead and submit a small PR along these lines, or would you prefer a different structure? Happy to follow your preference.
