change the output on mobile device

Hello,

I have the following question. For example, when I call the "Voice-change-O-matic" demo with an IPhone, the output is routed only to the phone speaker. But I would like to have the output to the "normal" speaker. The problem seems to occur only when the microphone is also enabled in the application. Is there a solution for this?

Thank you for filing the issue! I know it’s been a while, but I’m here to confirm: it’s still the case that on iPhone sound goes through the top speaker only. I also tested it on Android, and sounds come from both the top and bottom speakers in Chrome and Firefox.

Since it’s inconsistent, I doubt you can do anything on the API side to make it work the way you want. Two independent implementations (Chrome and Firefox) suggest that it might be a bug in Safari’s implementation. Or a feature, who knows.

Anyway, I would be surprised to learn that it could be fixed on the demo’s side. Happy to be proven wrong!
