No replies but never mind, I managed to do it at least to a point. I must say that the installation rocketed without a single error which makes a change. |

There are a bunch of Ubuntu versions like 22, 24 and server and desktop. I am about to wipe a test web server to try MediaCMS but not sure which Ubuntu version is best to use. A link to a recommended Ubuntu iso would be great.
if I install ubuntu on drive 1 and install MediaCMS to a folder on drive 2, will all user files, data, databases reside on the drive 2 folder. As I write this I am also thinking that ubuntu user accounts should also be on Drive 2 too.
If I set localhost for testing and later put the server online and point a domain to it, can I just edit a config file or will I need to re-install MediaCMS
