Work Item state does not change automatically based on rule

Hi guys,

in Azure DevOps it’s possible to activate the rule to automatically set the State of a Work Item to Resolved, when all child items are Closed. Also, the parent item could be set to Active automatically, when at least one child item is set to Active.

We activated this rule in a project, but it does not work. The states where not changed automatically.

Can anybody help, why this is not working?
