Self hosting doesn't install on Ubuntu 16.04

I believe this project is live.

I tried to install the self-hosted Badgekit and failed.

Here is the error log http://paste.ubuntu.com/18811324/. I got these errors while i run the command npm install

Sorry to say this is not currently actively maintained open source software. A number of the node modules seem to have suffered from install issues around the time of npm's recent index de-listing issues.

Thanks for the response.

I checked the new staging site and tried to install 'Badgr' and again the installation was not completed (https://github.com/concentricsky/badgr-server/issues/34).

Later on i decided to build a separate application to issue manage and show badges for the users. I will follow the standards (https://openbadgespec.org/) to make it inter operable.
