Suppress notifications

Would be great if you could implement a setting to suppress all notifications sent out during a migration.
As of now, all users gets an email when a work item is assigned to them or if a user i tagged in a work item and maybe in more events.
It seems like that is a personal setting in Azure Devops, so to suppress those notifications every user would have to disable those notifications by themselves.

Is it possible to implement something so that those notification settings wont be triggered?

It's not possible for a 3rd party to interact with users' personal notifications. Only the authnenticated user can do that.

No, but it seems possible to pass suppressNotifications=true when creating the work item.

I just wrote a Powershell script to achive this. Is that something you can use?

Thats not the API we use. We use the Tfs Object Model.
