Switching b/w rtmp libraries causing black screen in streamed video

We have a requirement to sometimes show adds... so when we are switching from RtmpCamera2 to RtmpFromFile or vice versa we are facing a black screen issue, a no stream on card that we have as well as a flicker that persists for 2-3 seconds. How to avoid this ?

You can try use StreamBase classes (RtmpStream) that allow you change the video and audio source on fly.

Another solution could be reproduce the add without rtmp stream. For example with exoplayer with a HTTPS URL.

yes we tried that (exoplayer)... but then the video is not added to the media stream

RtmpStream doesn't support camera control like zoom and focus, how to get around that and include camera controls?

That is supported but you have to get the video source and cast it to your current video source class like this:

we are using RtmpStream but after we switch to file sources the video is changed to file video but it it taking audio from device microphone

Hello,

Did you check if you are getting an exception? Read it because maybe the problem is related with your audio config in the file that you want to use.
The file must have the same samplerate and channels than the original audio stream (microphone configuration) to work
