the non-GPL format checker for iri and iri-reference is utterly slow.

the respective format checker library rfc3987-syntax was introduced via #1388

It takes about one minute on my machine to validate a JSON with ~1800 iri-references.

I am working on this.
possible solutions:

• find a non-GPL replacement lib
• improve the respective lib

Hey! I'm happy to see a new PR replacing these if a better library emerges. I'm also of course happy if you or anyone interested helps improve the dependencies for this.

I think I'm going to close this specific ticket here though as these are downstream issues where there's no specific action for this repository itself.
