Searching from the presentation

Can searching be supported from presentation? i.e. when searching in browser, the corresponding slide would be shown.

Alternatively, a searchable pdf could be supported. One solution offered here is to use deck2pdf, but that way all the slides are images. I'd prefer to have selectable text in pdf.

The idea is to have a presentation (either html or pdf) which can be searched.
