Describe the bug

When I click "export video" it loads for a while and then nothing happens. Cannot locate the mp4 anywhere.

Expected behavior

there should be an option to choose where the mp4 downloads to

are you sure the save dialog is not hidden behind? happened to a lot of folks

Maybe it's what I suggested in the PR; on Arch + Hyprland, the export window just didn't appear #484
But there's no info from the author, so I can only guess

I have the exact same issue on my Mac running 26.5 (25F71) and I do not see any dialog.

Okay I might have commented too early. I see another pinned bug where the dialog was somewhere else. It was on a completely different virtual desktop.

alternatively - current main has a change that asks for the location first and then processes export. So this confusion will not exist anymore. In case you want to pull that.
