Automatic Metadata assignment via machine learning (document type, correspondent etc.) #738

Hello there,
I would be interested in some automatic metadata assignment to reduce the effort in categorization.
I'm thinking about a machine learning implementation that learns from the given documents and predicts i.e. the according tags (like in wich folder to place the file) and metadata.
For Metadata i'd like to know "how is sending" the document so to have some kind of correspondent that is set in the metadata.
Besides that it would be very helpful to gave something like "due date" on the document that can trigger reminders to get back to at some later point in time.
