Overview

We have employed many powerful and helpful configurations in this organization. While they are all for the benefit of overall collaboration, new users may not be familiar with them.

We want to describe what is going on in the org, why it is happening, and how to become a contributor.

Details

Cover the following:

• Repo overview
• Teams overview
• Branch protection strategy
• autograder dependencies
• Related resources

Also give a callout to these materials from the landing README.md file. This gives future TAs a chance to discover the information.

I still believe this should be done but I don't actually know enough to write this.

Is this just something that is like a README.md where we just explain the different points so that new TAs can use it to better understand the github organization and structure? I think that this is something that multiple people can work on, adding information as necessary until the professors and TAs feel it adequately explains everything for new TAs to understand and read up on.
