My $341 is Manual Touch Off and $346 : 1.
Have i something wrong ?
But for the parameter $342 is it the maximum distance between the tool and the plate before $TPW or the thickness of the plate

$342:

It is the distance used for the probe G38 command.

Establish the reference offset on touch plate with the Tool length offset tab with the Touch plate/fixture height set and Add offset checked. If Z0 is not on the top of the workpiece remove the touch plate, move to Z0 then change the Z DRO to the position you want. Or establish the reference without Add offset checked, remove the touch plate and do a manual touch off before setting the desired Z position. On tool changes perform the touch off on the touch plate (in the same Z-position as when establishing the reference).
