Most Australian Tesla owners enjoy about 6 hours of near-free electricity overnight for EV charging.
This six-hour window is more or less a market standard among Australian energy suppliers.
For a typical Aussie household without a dedicated EV circuit, everyday charging usually means:
230 V × 6 h × 10 A (max) = 13.8 kWh.
Currently, TeslaMate requires around 15 kWh (some say 14 kWh) per session to trigger the battery health calculation.
As a result, the battery health metric is rarely updated in daily use — for example, I only see it recalculated once or twice a month during special charging sessions.
Is there any setting, environment variable, or database value that can be modified to lower the threshold (say, from 15 kWh to 13 kWh) so the battery health can be recalculated more regularly?
