Windows 11 ARM unknown devices

Hi,

I installed the latest build of Windows 11 ARM (22H2 - 22621.521) in a UTM 4.0.5 virtual machine. Everything went smoothly but in the device manager there are lots of unknown devices. Is this normal ?

Same here. Tried letting it search for the drives in the UTM ISO but no success.

Same here, it all works OK and installs updates etc, but wonder how to get rid of all these unknown devices?

Same problem as here. it doesn't seem a big issue but kind of annoying seeing all those unconfigured devices 😅

By default, QEMU maps 32 empty VirtIO-MMIO slots within the virtual machine's ACPI table, even when there is no hardware attached to them from the macOS side.
Windows 11 ARM scans these tables, sees the slots, and says one "Unknown device" entry for each of them.

[2] Can this be solved by drivers? No. Microsoft Windows 11 ARM currently has no built-in LNRO0005 (VirtIO-MMIO) generic driver at all when empty. Not even the latest official RedHat/Fedora virtio-win drivers contain a solution to hide these yellow exclamation marks for empty slots.
