Why create-vite for react does not use eslint-plugin-react?

Why doesn't create-vite add the eslint-plugin-react plugin when creating a React project with ESLint enabled, given that it contains many useful rules? Currently, it only includes rules related to hooks and refresh. Is this an oversight or intentional?

I have the same question. It feels strange that there's only a simple ESLint rule to ignore errors.

I took a closer look at the eslint-plugin-react package. Many of its rules are actually already covered by TypeScript’s type checking, and most of them are designed specifically for class components, which makes the plugin feel somewhat outdated. In practice, it’s really not necessary to include this plugin anymore.
