Description

While testing the Volcano website using Google Lighthouse in Desktop mode, the audit reported the following scores:

• Performance: 85/100
• Accessibility: 89/100

These scores indicate there are optimization opportunities to improve the overall user experience and meet Lighthouse best practices.

Expected Result

• Improve Performance score to 90+ (preferably 95+).
• Improve Accessibility score to 95+ by addressing all Lighthouse recommendations.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Open the Volcano website.
2. Open Chrome DevTools.
3. Navigate to the Lighthouse tab.
4. Select Desktop mode.
5. Generate a Lighthouse report.
6. Observe the Performance score of 85 and Accessibility score of 89.

Acceptance Criteria

• Lighthouse Performance score is 90+ in Desktop mode.
• Lighthouse Accessibility score is 95+ in Desktop mode.
• Lighthouse recommendations are reviewed and addressed where applicable.
• No regressions in functionality after optimizations.
