Ruby LSP memory leak

Summary

Experiencing random memory leaks when using Ruby LSP last few weeks. It resolves after restart language server command.

I don't know how to reproduce it. I experience it from once in a few days. Seems there are no issues when using Solargraph.

LSP logs were lost after restart.

Zed logs from launching Zed to Ruby taking 60gb of memory 10-15 minutes later. Again solved by restart language server

I'm assume this is likely an upstream ruby-lsp issue and not something that zed really has control over. If you have steps to trigger this behavior (e.g. on an open source repo) I would love to dig in further, but without that there's not much we can do.

It might be worth trying older versions of ruby-lsp in case there is a regression there:

I'm not best sure how to instrument ruby-lsp, I would recommend you file an issue upstream perhaps they can be of help.

Thanks. It keeps happening. The problem is that there is nothing in the Ruby LSP log, so not sure what's going on, and they don't have much support for non VSCode issues. It seems it always connected to the "Finding references..."

I'm trying to narrow down the Ruby LSP file indexing scope, maybe it will help. They have a configuration example for VSCode
